I just did this personality test. I actually found it pretty frustrating and hard to choose a question that felt true, but after all that, it feels fairly accurate. Or maybe I just like being called a "dreamy idealist." What do you think?

ReplyDeleteIn general, I would be wary of personality tests that only provide two possible outcomes. In particular, I wouldn't call you a shy person. "A very successful academic career" applies to you, but not that much to me. Personally I'm not sure if I can see things as a whole. I can't for example see my life as a whole. Just shards and pieces of meaning that don't connect. You are a person of integrity, something that I sometimes dubbed "full of yourself". You're not full of others' ideas. Profound discussions - check. Another thing that the description makes me think about is linguistics: the difference between "fall in love" and "be in love" or "love", as well as Polish "zakochać się", "być zakochanym" and "kochać".
